“We can really be proud of what we’ve achieved,” explains Thomas Felbermair, Vice President Sales and Marketing BMW M GmbH. “A field of 17 cars and a selection of top drivers in the series’ debut is a great achievement. That leaves you wanting more. We certainly have another exciting weekend to look forward to in Zolder.”

In addition to thrilling races, fans and spectators in Belgium can again expect an extra dose of female power. Five women have already proven their talent at the Lausitzring – this included Alesia and Jacqueline Kreutzpointner. The ‘Racing Twins’ contest the entire season of the BMW M2 Cup and with three top 10 results have been busy collecting points for the championship.

In Zolder too, the BMW M2 CS Racing cars are allocated by lottery and Pagid and DHL will have their cars on the grid again. The companies support the one-make trophy and young talents throughout the season and complement the strong line-up of partners.

The schedule sees a number of changes: Free practice at Circuit Zolder is scheduled for Friday and qualifying for Saturday. Both sessions start at 9:05. The lights for races three and four of the season go green on Saturday at 12:05 and on Sunday at 11:35.

Both races and qualifying will be broadcast live – the German stream can be watched on the official website, whilst the English commentary is found on the BMW Motorsport YouTube channel.
